The sixth film in a series that has arguably gone on for far too long, Resident Evil: Retribution gives us more of the same and actually manages to breathe a bit of freshness into the film series, providing us with new twists and more characters from the games.
Finally, a video game gets a DLC campaign that actually makes a worthwhile extension to the game. If you enjoyed the main campaign you will love this.
An under-the-radar expansion for an under-the-radar game, Grubbins On Ice carries on the charm and humor of Costume Quest admirably but is too small of a campaign to contain much substance.
Forget all the earthquakes, wars, global warming, and Harold Camping. Duke Nukem Forever finally coming out is the true sign of the Apocalypse.
One of the first wave of Team Fortress 2 rip-offs, and the standout of the lot; it does some things better than it's predecessor.

Video Game Review - Costume Quest

Just in time for Halloween comes a casual game from THQ and the folks at DoubleFine Studios. A casual RPG done in the old style, it has a lot of charm and a few surprises for being a game that's accessible to everyone.
Everyone's favorite Mary Sue returns in another video-game adaptation that resurrects the dead horse for further beating.
Bass playing geek Scott Pilgrim thinks he has his life just the way he wants it until the girl of his dreams shows up...but before he can win her love, he must battle each of her seven evil exes in a duel to the death! Along the way he learns a little about himself and a lot about love.  But does he have enough continues to avoid a Game Over in his relationship?
There's something weird, and it sure looks good!

If you remember the films at all and have at least some fondness for them, you owe it to yourself to make this call.
