More news for all Supernatural fans regarding casting calls and deathly missions!

We’re here, we’re queer and we’re going ghost busting.
CW series Supernatural has been nominated for an award by GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) annual Media Awards for "The Real Ghostbusters" in the category "Outstanding Individual Episode in a series without a regular LGBT character".

Season Six for Supernatural?

The future of the TV horror series Supernatural just got less scary for fans, after CW Network boss Dawn Ostroff sat down for lunch with Supernatural show runner Eric Kripke. The Ausiello Files reports that Ostroff is pleased with the show's creative direction, saying that Kripke has been "hitting it out of the park" this season ...
Back in December of 2006, the writers of Supernatural gave us a massive cliffhanger before the holiday hiatus.  Dean was about to reveal to Sam what John’s last words were.  Over the collective howl that came from fans for no big reveal, we all kind of forgot that the episode was about a demon virus that never really showed up again – until this episode.
When last we left Dean and Sam, they broke up and Sam quit hunting, citing irreconcilable differences.  This week . . .
I admit it; I’m behind on my reviews.  The truth is, Episodes two through four were hard to watch.  I said that Sam was going to have to pay some penance for his role in the end of last season, but that doesn’t mean that watching the boys go through the angst was easy for me.
What I think of the Season 5 Premier of Supernatural!
It’s been a long summer of ducking spoilers and dodging fan speculation (and the occasional rotten tomato), but the show is back with a rousing rendition of ACADACA’s Thunderstruck.  I think I’ve missed them more than I suspected.
Let me start off by saying that I went into the show thinking that Kripke, Sera and the rest of the creators had been violating the rules of their own universe.  By the end of the episode, I’ve been convinced that not only have they stuck to their own rules, but they managed to throw a few curves this season thanks to some brilliant misdirection.  Well played, Kripke.
I’m really not trying to be cute or clever here.  This episode was an extremely dark, sad and traumatic episode for many fans.  My intent here is to inject some much-needed levity into my review.   If you’re not ready for that, you may not want to read on.
