For those Supernatural fans who say that they haven't gotten enough insight into Sam's brain this season, the past few episodes have given us quite a tour of Sam's head. The problem is, I'm not sure it's a place that we want to be.

A few months ago, casting spoilers leaked to the Internet that Kripke and Co. were searching for the third Winchester brother. Fans were livid. Torches were sharpened. Pitchforks were set on fire. But before they could get a really good mob going, the title of the episode was also leaked: Jump The Shark. The fans released a collective huh and then sat back to enjoy the carnage.

I love the funnier episodes of Supernatural best. (Of course when I get a tightly-plotted episode like last season’s Jus in Bello I say that I love those best. I’m easy that way. Just don’t tell Dean).
