Rob Zombie ambitiously names his latest album a direct sequel to his hard hitting debut. If his goal was to return to his original sound of poppy yet macabre hard metal with danceable beats and melodic hooks, he seems to have failed.

The Zoo was the band that Filipino lead singer Arnel Pineda played in before he gained international fame by being hired to sing in the legendary American band Journey based off live performances posted to Youtube. Though they only had enough time to put out one album with Pineda, "Zoology" offers listeners a chance to experience Pineda's songwriting capabilities, as well as the vocal stylings that got him hired singing in his native language.
