This Sunday on August 17 New York Anime Festival, in collaboration with Delray Manga and Japanese Radio Show Samurai Beat Radio, is holding a Cosplay Day at the New York City branch of the Kinokuniya Bookstore...

Afro Samurai: Resurrection television movie, sequel to Afro Samurai, to air next January on Spike TV. FUNimation has all merchandising rights, and will release the DVD early in 2009. GDH K.K. to reveal the trailer today at Comic-Con International in San Diego, followed by a replay on Spike.com and Afrosamurai.com. Namco Bandai Games will also allow attendees of Comic-Con to play a demo of the Afro Samurai game, due to be released also in 2009.

Right now ten tickets are being sold on the New York Anime Festival website which will allow ten people to accompany the three men as they eat and drink at a restaurant in Midtown Manhattan...
This year at the July 23-27 convention Yoshitaka Amano and Yasuhiro Nightow will be signing autographs in Comic-Con in San Diego ...
