WGA Files Complaint With National Labor Relations Board (article): The WGA goes official with their complaint against the AMPTP's unfair labor practices, and demands that they return to the negotiating table.
Universal Calls Cops On Pencil Pushers (article): "We don't want what you're delivering," Universal told WGA members who attempted to deliver a load of pencils paid for by fans in support of the strike (the Pencils2Moguls movement). LAPD was called to the scene to prevent the pencils from being brought onto the lot.
Directors Guild "Disappointed" by WGA Strike Stalemate (article): In solidarity with the WGA, the DGA has announced that they are scheduling their negotiations with the AMPTP to begin no earlier than the New Year, and then, only if it's appropriate.
Stars To Boycott the Golden Globes? (blurb): Several Golden Globe-nominated celebrities have threatened to boycott the awards ceremony if the WGA strike is not resolved beforehand. Crossing the picket line because they are contractually obligated to is one thing; doing it for an award is something else entirely.
