Welcome to the Monday edition of "Star Trek Ex Eye Watch"!  In today's news, Zachary Quinto has shaved, repeat shaved, his eyebrows.  (Why is this news?  Your guess is as good as mine.)  Quinto said to Entertainment Weekly, "I wouldn't do anything that was going to affect the root.''  So there you go.  As for the infamous pointy ears, Quinto says predecessor/costar Leonard Nimoy has''the biggest earlobes you've ever seen.  But it feels good to change it up, put on some pointy ears, and shave my eyebrows for the role.''

JFX has some nifty stolen shots of someone in a red jumpsuit they swear on a stack of technical journals is Chris Pine in Kirk regalia.  He looks more AcademyCadet!Kirk than anything else, but the rumors about the Academy persist anyway, so it's not a big surprise.  The site also has pics of someone who could be dressed as an Orion slave girl (and to be fair, the grainy, blurry photo does have that greenish tinge that says "Orion" or at least "Vulcan who ate a bad burrito" so they'r probably on to something).  Take a look.
