Ray Park -- who was criminally underused in "Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace" -- has landed the role of quiet-type ninja hunk Snake Eyes according to
/film. This follows last week's announcement of Sienna Miller filling the Baroness's stylish boots. Park is well-known to genre audiences. After his stint in "Star Wars," he also appeared in "X-Men" as Toad, and will show up in 2008's "Fanboys." (We'll be there. Will you?)
Meanwhile, the
L.A. Times is pretty sure Adam Brody has landed the Fastest Role Alive. Citing an anonymous source, the Times says Brody has "closed negotiations" on the role of Wally West, better known as The Flash, in George Miller's JLA adaptation. Internet rumor has it that Barry Allen is also in the film. Warner Brothers would not comment, other than to remind everyone that the film does not yet have a green light. Major casting announcements have been rumored for weeks now, with no official word. Is WB waiting for the full cast to make the anouncement all at once? Or is there something going on behind the scenes (or perhaps picketing in front of them) that may yet sink the project?
Brody is best known for his role as Seth on
The O.C., though genre fans might also remember him from his
Gilmore Girl or
Smallville appearances.
