Monday Picket Party and Holiday Toy Drive (blog post): On the Monday, Nov. 27, picket line, Nia Vardalos will be organizing a toy drive for the underprivileged and sick kids of LA County. All are invited to attend and donate an unwrapped toy, gift, or canned good.
Deadline Hollywood Daily: Speechless: The Speechless vids are now being posted in all their glory. So far includes performances from Holly Hunter, Richard Benjamin, Paula Prentiss, Sean Penn, Jeff Garlin, and others.
Thankful For Our Supporters - Big and Small (blog post): The story of one twelve-year-old boy on the picket line, supporting the writers. Very uplifting.
Presidential Wannabes Side With Striking Writers (article): TV Guide blurb about Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards declaring their support for the writers' strike.
Hollywood Rally for Hollywood Writers (YouTube video): Video of the Nov. 20 rally, when over 4,000 people turned out. Includes writers, actors, crew, the nurses' union, and other supporters, lots of discussion about the causes for the strike, encouraging speeches of solidarity. And a musical performance by Alicia Keys.
