Nea has been a fan of Doctor Who since before the era of VCRs and personal computers. Now she's thrilled that there's an all-new show and all-new ways for fandom to keep up to date and spread. Freema Agyeman, who plays companion Martha Jones in Doctor Who, will appear on the Omid Djalili Show, December 1 on BBC1. This comedy show premiered last Saturday, and is being billed as "a grown-up swipe at modern-day life in a multicultural society."
John Barrowman, who plays Captain Jack Harkness of Doctor Who and Torchwood, will be at the National Theatre (Olivier Theatre) "to reflect on Doctor Who, musicals and reality TV." This talk will be given on February 11, 2008, and will be followed by a signing for his autobiography Anything Goes. Anything Goes, co-written by John's older sister Carole, will be released as a hardback and audiobook in Great Britain on January 24, 2008 and in North America on April 28, 2008.
Other upcoming Barrowman sightings include This Week (BBC1, November 22), Loose Women (ITV1, November 22),Strictly Come Dancing (BBC2, November 22), The One Show (BBC1, November 23), and The Big Question (BBC1, November 25).
