Canadian and American fans of Doctor Who were saddened to find that instead of the promised commentary by David Tennant, John Barrowman, and Freema Agyeman for the episode "Last of the Time Lords," the commentary actually added to the Region 1 DVD boxset was the one by Russell T Davis, Julie Gardner, and Phil Collinson, which has been available for free download direct from the BBC website since shortly after the episode aired in Britain. Although the BBC has not yet made an official comment, one fan has reported that he did hear back from the company 2|Entertain, which told him that the stars' commentary "could not be cleared" and thus instead of future copies of the box set containing the Tennant/Barrowman/Agyeman comments, the liner notes would be changed to read "Davis, Gardner, and Collinson.
"

Although the exact nature of what could not be cleared or what it could not be cleared by is unknown, rumors are that it is either David and John singing "Dueling Banjos" or their making derogatory comments about President Bush.

On the more cheerful news, the new official website for Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto Jones of Torchwood) announces that he will be appearing at Memorabilia in Birmingham next weekend, on the 24th and 25th of November.

Also making an appearance soon is a new set of Doctor Who models from Airfix. Freema Agyeman's fan site has a picture of the kit, which includes a Tenth Doctor, TARDIS with light effects, and a stunning Martha Jones. This should soon be joining the range of Doctor Who and Sarah Jane merchandise that is already flooding into British stores.

For those who cannot wait for their Doctor or Martha fix, the BBC's Official Doctor Who site has created a new page of print-and-color posters of the Doctor, Martha, and assorted baddies.
