People who ordered the Region 1 release of the third season of Doctor Who are getting an unpleasant surprise in their boxset – instead of the promised commentary by David Tennant, John Barrowman, and Freema Agyeman for the episode “Last of the Time Lords,” there is a repeat of the commentary by Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner and Phil Collinson, which is still available as a free download from the BBC Doctor Who web page.  The BBC has promised an official response, but not yet given it, so fans do not know if they will be able to return their sets for replacement or download the missing commentary.

Some of the commentary details have been made public on Freema’s fan website.  The news section at FreemaAgyeman.

com also has speculation on the fourth season of Doctor Who, based on John Barrowman’s latest interview with This is Nottingham.co.uk.  In that interview, Barrowman discusses his new album “Another Side,” talks about filming Torchwood, his autobiography, his upcoming panto Aladdin (“we have Daleks”),  and announces that he will return once more to Doctor Who in the next season.

Speaking of John Barrowman’s new album, HMV Shops now confirms that Barrowman will be signing copies of Another Life at their 150 Oxford Street, London location on November 16.  Fans may pick up one of 250 wristbands at 9:00 a.m. for the signing, which will take place between 12:30 and 1:30.
