Tonight brings good (and not so good) news for fans. Variety reports that ABC has ordered up a full slate of episodes for fannish and critical darling freshman series Pushing Daisies.  The series stars Lee Pace as Ned the pieman who can bring people back from the dead, and Anna Friel as Chuck, his reanimated love interest.  Episode reviews of this series are coming soon to Firefox News, so keep your eyes open.

Stargate:Atlantis, currently known as the series where cancelled genre show actresses go, has goten the green-light for a fifth season.  SciFi Channel executive VP of original programming Mark Stern said, "Atlantis truly came out from under the shadow of its sister series this year and proved that it's a hit in its own right."

Flash Gordon isn't in as good a place.  SciFi hasn't made a decision yet on the "so cheesy it makes Velveeta jealous" series, so ready those keyboards and pencils because somebody somewhere is going to start a Save Our Show campaign.
