Fans of Supernatural will soon be able to have their very own Sam and Dean. There's already a variety of Supernatural merchandise available out there, from mugs to trading cards to posters. Now, as reported on their website, CineQuest.com has announced they'll be producing a line of 8" hand-painted mini-busts based on characters from the show.

The busts will be released in three waves of two. The first wave will depict Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) in the season one episode "Wendigo" and the creepy-looking scarecrow from "Scarecrow." The busts will be based on particular moments from the episodes. CineQuest founder Mark Del Vecchio said the Dean Winchester mini-bust will depict Dean "in the first 'captured' moment that struck us...back against the wall, leading the beast away."

The second wave of release will depict the Woman in White (from the Pilot) and Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki). CineQuest also has acquired the license to create 12" action figures based on the characters. Work on those should start soon after the mini-busts go into production. Supernatural follows two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, as they hunt down monsters, ghosts, and other horrific things that go bump in the night, using not only rock-salt loaded shotguns but Latin and research skills. The show is an entertaining blend of comedy, horror, and drama that has a loyal fanbase but has struggled for a larger audience. Lately it has been getting some more attention, though -- and now, there will be Sam and Dean action figures.
