Tonight is all about the teases.  First off, the "Dark Knight" site WhySoSerious has redecorated for the holidays.  Instead of the Joker-themed pictures, now the front page is a jack-o-lantern with a rather familiar-looking mouth shape.  Some folks have floated the "Long Halloween" notion for part of the movie; others just think it's festive.  The viral site as marketing technique has been picking up steam this year; between this and "Cloverfield," it's looking like the new way to advertise is to hide your commercials.

A more typical movie-related site has gone live.  The official Hellboy site is chock full of goodies about the new film ("Hellboy 2: The Golden Army," for those who came in late).
The synopsis from the site: "A ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below defies his bloodline and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures.  Now it's up to the planet's toughest, roughest superhero to battle the merciless dictator and his marauders."  Among the nifty bits on the site, director Guillermo del Toro has a blog, there's production art, and a message board.  Check it out.

Last but not least, Aint It Cool News brings us the sniff of a rumor about the new Star Trek film.  Seems that Hercules, the big name on the site, is claiming the official story of Shatner being out is just a smokescreen to hide his cameo in the movie.  Now, take that as you will: hopeful fanboy speculation or an insider with a little info?  It'd be just like the producers in the Age of Internet to cover their tracks as much as possible.  Of course, it'd be just like the Age of Internet to have that leaked anyway.
