After being well received by both critics and fans at the Toronto International Film Festival, Mother of Tears (La Terza Madre) may well be coming to a theater (or at least a DVD player) near you.

Mother of Tears is the final installment of the Dario Argento “Three Mothers” trilogy that began with the all-time classic, Suspiria (1977), and continued with Inferno (1980).

The star is Argento’s daughter, Asia.  It is not yet clear whether the film will have a theatrical release.

Solstice, from Daniel Myrick, director and co-creator of The Blair Witch Project (1999), appears to be a straight-ahead ghost story complete with séances, an old dark house, and attractive young people who should know better than to try to contact a dead twin.
