Actor Daniel Radcliffe is reprising his revealing role in "Equus" on this side of the pond. Reuters reports that Radcliffe, 18, is excited but nervous about bringing the controversial play -- which played to rave reviews in an 8 week run in London -- to New York. The biggest hype about the play, of course, is that Radcliffe's character appears completely nude on-stage.
Working around scheduling issues, the play could open in New York as soon as next year.
Radcliffe said, "It will be amazing, but I will be terrified because I was talking to Richard Griffiths about playing New York and he said the most stupid thing you can do is underestimate New York audiences."
Radcliffe is currently promoting his film "December Boys," which stars Radcliffe as one of four orphans trying to find a family. He is about to begin filming "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the sixth movie in the series based on J.K. Rowling's books.
