Silent Bob will not hop aboard the Galactica after all. Right after the news broke that Kevin Smith would direct a season four episode, Ron Moore's wife popped onto the SciFi Channel's forums to debunk it. "No he'[s] not. Scheduling conflict.
" When she was told SciFi PR reps would have to scramble to tell news outlets about the change in plans, she replied, "No, they probably won’t. Something like that only registers on message boards."
This comes as bad news to fans of Smith's work, who thought he might have brought a lighter touch to the occasionally pretentious series. Still, Smith has plenty of work ahead of him with Reaper and his stint in the big chair for Heroes, so he's not wanting for work.
