John Goodman is revisiting Babe, but not the baseball player. The Hollywod Reporter says that Goodman has signed to play Paul Bunyan in "Bunyan & Babe" from Exodus Film Group.  Comedian Eddie Griffin plays the big blue ox, who is kidnapped by a "demented circus owner."  Bunyan must rescue his best friend, with the help of two kids.

Exodus president Max Howard said, "John is a dream casting for us.  He epitomizes the true American spirit of Paul Bunyan."

Goodman has had great success with his voicework in recent years.  "Monsters, Inc." saw him opposite Billy Crystal, Father of the Pride put him in charge of a sitcom lion family, and he's doing a voice in this fall's "Bee Movie."
