A rumor has surfaced that Greg Weisman (Disney's Gargoyles
, Max Steel) has been tapped by Marvel as story editor for the upcoming animated Spider-Man series.

Weisman is best known for his work as co-creator of Disney's
. He has also written for such series as Men in Black, The Gummi Bears, Max Steel, and The Batman. He is currently working on a comic adaptation of Gargoyles, continuing the series from the last episode he penned, "The Journey," but going in a different direction than the followup series Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles.
