Keith David

Keith David has been cast as the villain Dr. Facilier in Walt Disney's upcoming 2-D musical "The Frog Princess," says the Hollywood Reporter. The character has been described elsewhere as an evil voodoo magician and fortune teller.  Set in New Orleans' famous French Quarter, the film will be a coming-of-age story revolving around a young girl (Anika Noni Rose) who turns out to be a princess.  John Musker and Ron Clements wrote the script and will direct.

David is one of our favorite actors here at Firefox News.
He has appeared in "Pitch Black," "The Chronicles of Riddick," "Volcano," "Dead Presidents," and "Armageddon."  He has extensive voice work credits, not least as the lead VA in Gargoyles and Spawn, as well as memorable guest roles on Justice League, The Legend of Tarzan, and the 1990's Fantastic Four series.  David's distinctive voice lends gravitas to all his roles, and Musker and Clements are lucky to have him.  (We would also like to state that we at Firefox News firmly believe David should be cast as the role of Alison's deceased husband on Eureka, and should be given the role of Goliath in the live-action film of "Gargoyles" should it ever see the light of day.)
