Michael Jai White is taking a Gamble on the Gotham gang, reports MTV.  White's character is an up-and-coming mob boss, one of several trying to take over Gotham after the death of gangster Carmine Falcone.
In "The Dark Knight," Batman (Christian Bale) and Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) have to split ther crimefighting efforts between dealing with the gang war and stopping the Joker (Heath Ledger).  The film is shooting right now in downtown Chicago.

White is no stranger to comics-to-film projects.  He starred in the 1997 film adaptation of "Spawn," and he's done voicework on Justice League and Static Shock.  White is a martial arts expert and stuntman, so expect some great action sequences when he goes up against Batman.
