Neil Gaiman-scripted film "Beowulf" will be released on November 16th in traditional theatres and IMAX, with the latter screenings in 3D.  The movie recounts the 9th century epic poem about manly men, their manly leader, and what happens when you upset a monster's mum.
Gaiman and Roger Avary adapted the poem for the film, which uses a digitally enhanced motion-capture technique (like "The Polar Express" but less creepy) and stars Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Robin Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson, Crispin Glover, Alison Lohman and Angelina Jolie.

Director Robert Zemeckis said, "IMAX 3D has enabled us to tell stories in a whole new way, and we are very excited to offer moviegoers a chance to experience Beowulf in this incredible format.  IMAX lends itself to the incredible image detail in Beowulf and in 3D, it will transport the audience directly into the story."
