Two pieces of BSG news have filtered down the pipe today. First off, Billy Campbell (wannabe messiah Jordan Collier on The 4400) has been vying for a guest spot on SciFi Channel's hit show Battlestar Galactica.  According to SciFi Wire, the actor approached SciFi president Bonnie Hammer, and by "approached," we mean "made a pest of himself."

Said Hammer, "He literally assaulted me, trying to do whatever he possibly could to bribe me to have me bribe [executive producers] Ron [Moore] and David [Eick] to create a character arc inside Battlestar Galactica.  That is the only show he ever wanted to be in. That is the only show he would do for free. Billy Campbell, literally, saying, 'Give me an arc, any kind of arc, in Battlestar Galactica, please.' And it was very hard to get away from.
"

"Actually, I think we're trying to figure that out," said SciFi's v.p. of origonal programming, Mark Stern. "And the free part was really great. Although I don't know if his agent really liked that. But we were like, 'OK, we can do that.'"

Hammer added: "I had witnesses, too."

Campbell has been all over genre.  Not only is he on The 4400, he's been the title character in "The Rocketeer" and appeared on TNG as "The Outrageos Okona."  (Busy guy!)

In other news, Seth Green brainchild Robot Chicken will be doing a BSG send-up soon.   Green encountered a handful of the actors at an after-Grammy party, reports IGN.  A month and a half later we got called for Robot Chicken," said series regular Tahmoh Penikett (Helo).  As Seth Green is one of the biggest fanboys on that side of the camera, this should be fun.
