Actress Missy Peregrym will be joining the cast of the CW's comedy-drama Reaper, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The series focuses on the misadventures of a 21-year-old slacker named Sam who finds himself the bounty hunter for the Devil. Bret Harrison is the lead, and Peregrym will play Andi, the pretty coworker on whom Sam has a big crush.
(Nikki Reed previously played the role in the unaired pilot which may or may not be retooled to include Peregrym instead.) Ray Wise plays the Devil.
Peregrym is best-known in genre fandom for her recent role on Heroes as Candice Wilmer, an illusionist who could take on the appearance of others. She has also appeared on Smallville, Tru Calling, and Dark Angel.
