Pixar is aiming for a more grown-up demographic in upcoming flick "Up," according to Variety. Monday, the studio announced that the film, which is due out sometime in 2009, will feature a 70-year-old man who teams up with a forest ranger. Together they fight crime. Okay no.
Together they fight beasts and monsters. Ronnie Del Carmen is writing the script.while Pete Docter and Bob Peterson co-direct. The film will complete Pixar's schedule over the next three years, between "Wall*E" next year (about a robot looking for home, directed and written by Andrew Stanton) and "Toy Story 3" in 2010.
