The 2007 MTV Movie Awards were held last night, airing live from Universal City, California.  The MTV awards are a surprisingly nice break from the traditional awards ceremonies such as the Oscars and Emmys.  The award nominees, presenters, and performers just enjoy themselves with the silliness, because when the stakes are so low, why not?  Who can forget Gollum's acceptance speech when he won for "Best Animated Character" for his performance in "The Two Towers"?  The 2007 awards were hosted by Sarah Silverman and featured appearances by Jack Nicholson and Johnny Depp.
