This just in: Justin Marks has been tapped to write the big-screen He-Man adaptation, reports Aint It Cool News. Joel Silver will be developing the project for Warner Brothers rather than formerly rumored Legendary Pictures. This comes as good news to fans, whose hopes were dashed (well, surely someone's hopes were dashed ... ) by the earlier denial by Legendary.
The better news: Brad Pitt has denied repeatedly that he has any interest in the title role of a "Masters of the Universe" project.

Hopefully this movie happens, MOTU is a great property and can easily rival LOTR, POTC. I would like to see an unknown cast as He-Man, maybe keep Frank Langella as Skeletor.
