The 11th Annual Gathering of the Gargoyles will take place June 22 - June 25 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  The Gathering celebrates the fans and shared love of the 1990's animated series Gargoyles, originally run as part of the Disney Afternoon and made by Disney's Buena Vista label.  The series currently can be seen on Toon Disney.  This year's con theme is "A Little Bit Country ... " due to the location, nestled in the gentle hills of Tennesee.  Announced guests include Thom Adcox and series creator Greg Weisman.  As always, there will be a filk contest, a writing contest, and a cosume contest at the Masquerade.  Events include guest panels, fan panels, a dealer's room, the annual radio play auditions and performance, an art show, and a banquet.

The location of next year's convention was announced earlier this week.  Chicago, IL will be the home of the 2008 con, so if you can't make it to Tennessee this summer, start saving your frequent flier miles for a trip to O'Hare.
