Rumor: 'Supernatural' Has Been Renewed for Season Three

An insider with CW has said off the record that cult hit Supernatural has been renewed for next season. A fan at WonderFest (taking place right now in Louisville, KY) approached a CW affiliate and asked him point blank, to which he stated that yes, the series has been picked up for a full twenty-two episodes for next season.
The official announcement will not be made for a while, but perk up.
Supernatural follows the adventures of Sam and Dean Winchester and their 1967 Chevy Impala. The boys are carrying on their father's legacy of hunting urban legends and other beasties, protecting the innocent, yadda yadda yadda. Lots of fans just tune in for the pretty. Now there will be twenty-two more opportunities for same.

I completely blame Constance for introducing me to this show.
And it's not just about the pretty. There's, uh, stories and stuff. About vampires. And ghosts, I think. (And yummy guys.) And a wendigo. (And yummy guys.) And demons with funny colored eyes. (And yummy guys.)

Supernatural BETTER come back for another season. It's one of the best shows on TV now and days. Everything else is focused on love affiars and murder. This show is about two brothers doing their thing to save the world from the supernatural, while fighting their own inner demons. I love the show.

I know a lot of Supernatural fans, but I don't know /anyone/ who watches just for the pretty. There's a lot more to the show than that. Thanks for the mention, and I hope the rumor is right.

For the record, I'm the site editor. I find it a /very/ well written show with very good actors and do not just watch it for the da pretty. Car or boys. *grin* It, and Blood Ties, are the only two shows I am watching by choice right now.
(And last night's ep ... wow. I really hope this is a true rumor 'cause they're gonna need more than one episode to resolve all the implications here.)

I really hope supernatural gets renewed for a 3rd season. Supernatural is the only show I watch on the cw and it does not deserve to be cancelled. I support the show and the boyz. Jensen and Jared are awesome and really talented actor. I love them, they are so hottt and I really hope everything goes well. They work so hard for this and they deserve to keep up the really good work that they do. I love ya, Jensen & Jared with all my heart!!

I would be so happy if SUPERNATURAL is renewed for another season (and lots more!!),
I think it's a great show!
And what is the problem if some people watch it for the pretty?
It doesn't hurt the eye to see such beautiful boys on tv.
Plus it has a really good plot, and jensen and jared make it TOO funny! they're great actors!..
hope the rumor is SO TRUE!..

I am so glad about Supernatural getting picked up for another season!! There is alot more than just sam & dean (i know they are cute) to look at you can actually learn alot from the show. Not only do i watch Supernatural but I also watch Blood Ties, Bones, Dog The Bounty Hunter & Supernatural. Ever since the wb canned Charmed after 8 seasons, Supernatural is the only show i watch on the cw nothing else. The other shows are all on different channels. So I do hope for Supernatural to stick around for a long time; longer than Charmed hopefully!!

i am so happy that supernatural is going to have a third season i love the show and since charmed is no longer or angel or buffy so i hope supernatural is on for many years to come
