Marc Singer, who played human freedom fighter Mike Donovan in the "V" series of the 1980s, returns to the franchise when "V" returns to ABC January 4, 2011, according to an article on G4's The Feed this week.

Singer will play "part of a "secret organization...of high-ranking military and government leaders from around the globe.'"  These folks have apparently been part of the huge other segment of the world population that the series never showed last year, the rest of the resistance/alien fighters who are working to reveal the Visitors for the enemies they are.

Singer will join his former co-star, Jane Badler, who played the evil alien queen Diana in the earlier show, and from reports, will play V leader Anna's mother on the show when it returns.
