Megan Harrell is a journalism student currently attending college in New York City. She is originally from West Virginia and, in addition to writing, she enjoys sports, horseback riding and reading. She plans to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. The “Blood Ties” production office has confirmed that Lifetime will be airing the last nine episodes of the hit show’s first season. No exact air dates for the back nine have been announced as of yet. The network had originally only committed to the show’s first 13 episodes, the last of which is set to air May 27.
Lifetime has three new original shows set to run on Sunday nights beginning in June, so fans of “Blood Ties” may be in for a bit of a summer hiatus unless Lifetime changes the timeslot.
“Blood Ties” stars Christina Cox as ex-cop turned private investigator Vicki Nelson, Dylan Neal as her ex-lover and partner and Kyle Schimid as the vampire Henry Fitzroy. The show currently airs Sunday nights at 10 PM with an encore presentation at midnight on Lifetime.
