TV's Eric Roberts and William Fichtner have both joined forces with "The Dark Knight." According to sources, Roberts will be playing "a Mafia kingpin," although one guesses the full description of his role will actually be "Mafia kingpin who shows up to posture in front of the Joker, only to die a gruesome death before the end of Act Two." Fichtner will play a bank manager in scenes already starting to film in Chicago's old Post Office.

Roberts has had plenty of face (and voice) time with genre fans.  Not only has he appeared on popular NBC show Heroes, he played The Master in 1996's Doctor Who TV movie, voiced Mongul on Justice League and Dark Danny on Danny Phantom.  Fichtner has been a regular on Prison Break and Invasion, and did a memorable one-shot appearance on The West Wing as a Supreme Court hopeful who made it big.
