Tonight's rumor mill has pegged Michael Apted to direct the third Narnia flick. AintItCoolNews broke the story today, after rumors had already been swirling about the departure of director Andrew Adamson. Apted is best known to fans as the guy who directed Bond flick "The World Is Not Enough.
" He also directed "Gorky Park," "Gorillas in the Mist" and recent hit "Amazing Grace" (possibly a direct step into a C.S. Lewis-based production). Rome fans may also have seen his name around.
Primary filming on "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" should start as soon as it stops for "Prince Caspian." Much like the "Harry Potter" cast, there are age gaps to consider for the actors involved.
