This just in: Edward Norton has signed on to replace Eric Bana in the next "Hulk" movie, according to Variety. The film will be directed by Louis Leterrier, taking the reins from Ang Lee who helmed the critically-acclaimed first movie in the franchise. Zak Penn wrote the script. Shooting will begin this summer in Toronto with a tentative release date of June 13, 2008.

Norton is a big name to be taking over the role. His career has spanned indie films as well as mainstream hits, from "American History X" to "Keeping the Faith." His most famous role to date is probably from his intense character in "Fight Club."

His ability to transform into a particular role makes him the ideal choice to take on the character of Bruce Banner and the Hulk.
