The Sarah Connor Chronicle's episode 2.22 "Born to Run" took a tiny upswing in the ra
Born to Run is the last episode of the season.
According to pifeedback.com, episode 2.22 had 3.56 million viewers, up from 3.35 million viewers. Sarah Connor ranked #4 with Viewers overall , and ranked #3with viewers A18-49: 1.3/5.
The overall numbers this season haven't boded well for renewal. The season high was the season premiere with live 6.34 and plus DVR of 7.266, which was not a great start given that the previous season ended with a +7 DVR viewership of 9.34. Ratings have continued to sink over the course of the season.
While DVR numbers have consistently helped, as is noted over on tvbythenumbers, this assistance tends to be in the nature of greatly increased percentage. That is to say, Sarah Connor's ratings often increased by the top 1 or 2 of all broadcast shows, but the original rating was so low that this didn't result in the show itself having a large viewership.
Additionally the move to Fridays was a bit of a body blow to ratings. While expectations for Fridays were lower, Sarah Connor went from 5 million plus viewers to 3 million plus viewers. The number of people watching on DVR went up, but that didn't make up the gap. While there is also an on-going shift in how viewers are accessing shows with multiple outlets like: hulu.com, itunes and on the fox.com website itself. Sarah Connor is in the unfortunate position of being in the middle of that shift with the most emphasis still being on ratings.

Following these numbers week to week has been fairly depressing as a fan of the show. However, I am glad that we at least made it to the season finale.
