Something Evil This Way Comes

As the saying goes, “It’s not over until the fat lady sings.”  For Michael Eklund, the lady hasn’t sung yet.  According to sources close to the show, the actor will reprise his role as Norman Bridewell in an upcoming episode of Lifetime’s new hit show “Blood Ties.”

The Norman we see in the upcoming episode, however, is a very different Norman than we saw in “Blood Price.”  He’s been in hell, literally, so it’s understandable that his time in the underworld has changed him.  It also makes sense that he would be very angry at the two people who sent him there via demon express—Vicki and Henry.

Revenge isn’t the only thing on the demon’s mind.  According to sources, he still has his mind set on winning over Coreen.  Romancing Vicki’s assistant isn’t the only matchmaking he’s working on either.  Rumor has it that because of Norman’s new abilities, he may—in a roundabout way—give many fans a scene they’ve been waiting for between a certain half-blind, ex-cop and her very sexy vampire partner.

The show has hinted at the return of the evil connected with Vicki’s demon tattoos since she was marked at the end of the premiere episode.  After all, they heated up and glowed when she touched the ghost in the April 1 episode “Deadly Departed,” and Henry’s psychic friend claimed there was more trouble brewing for the private investigator.  Even Vicki said (albeit a bit sarcastically) she was fated to bring Hell to Earth.

The episode promises to be action packed with some great fight sequences between the heroes and their nemesis.  Don’t miss it when all hell breaks loose as Norman returns in the May 20 episode, appropriately entitled “Norman.”

The show airs Sunday nights at 10 PM on Lifetime.
