TVShowsOnDVD has announced two upcoming fan-friendly releases for July and August. The final season of Stargate: SG1 will be available on July 24th. This includes the last episodes of the series, which have not yet broadcast in the U.S., as well as commentaries for each episode and special features on each disc focusing on different aspects of the show. Since this set includes the 200th episode of the series (a humorous outing called, cleverly or not, "200") there is also a small retrospective on that milestone.

Super Friends: The Legendary Super Powers Show is the second-to-last incarnation of that long-lived staple of Gen X kidvid, the Super Friends. This outing, on a two-disc set, features sixteen episodes of everyone's favorite DC heroes as they fight big bad Darkseid. Firestorm was added to the cast, though Cyborg will have to wait until the next set.
