Marta Kauffman, one of the minds behind NBC's Friends, is stepping into reality tv -- sorta -- with Gifted, a pilot for FOX about psychics. Reuters reports that the series will focus on people who believe they have certain psychic skills suhc as reading Tarot cards or communicating with spirits, with tests to see who is the "most gifted." Production should begin next week, although if the pilot goes to series, the final format is yet to be determined, and may include a Real World aspect of the finalists living together under one roof.

Said Kauffman, "I have always been fascinated about what we can't see and the gifts that people have that enable them to do incredible things. And I have always wanted to know if there is a way to quantify people's ability."

Genuine psychics in the audience may now commence fortelling how long this will last.
