Neil Patrick Harris has signed on to voice Barry Allen's Flash in upcoming DTV "Justice League: The New Frontier." He joins David Boreanaz as Hal Jordan's Green Lantern, Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman, and Kyle MacLachlan as Superman. Brooke Shields will play Carol Ferris. The movie is based on Darwyn Cooke's comic miniseries of the same name.
Cooke is attached to the project, as are DC Animation greats Bruce Timm and Stan Berkowitz.

DC: The New Frontier concerned a growing alien menace on Earth, and the collision of the Golden Age superheroes with the Silver Age. The comic won an Eisner Award in 2005 for "Best Limited Series."

Harris is currently best known for his role as Barney on How I Met Your Mother, and has appeared in films such as "Starship Troopers" and "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle."
