Parents of little girls everywhere are breathing a little easier today, after the four-year court case between Mattel Inc. and MGA Entertainment was decided Wednesday in favor of fashion icon Barbie.  U.S. District Judge Stephen Larson banned MGA from manufacturing or selling their hugely popular Bratz dolls, which has taken the little girl toy market share by storm and rattled parents with the haunting phrase "prostitots" since 2001.  The injunction does allow MGA to leave the toys in the stores until after the holidays.
The ruling followed a jury's finding Bratz designer Carter Bryant broke an intellectual property agreement with Mattel, having developed the concept for the Bratz dolls while working for the toy giant.

The Bratz line includes over forty dolls, all named in the injunction after a post-trial argument over whether only the original four dolls should be included.  A Bratz film was released in 2007, which scored a whopping 7% on the Tomatometer.
