Food was the topic this week on Guiding Light, and it wasn't always good. First was the product whoring. I mean, I know it's a bad economy and all, but come on. Not only was the V8 juice shown on camera, but it was mentioned by name - not one day, but two! I accepted the Pringles can in past episodes. It was in the background, but at least it wasn't prominently mentioned.

Second was the Cooper Thanksgiving.

The whole town was invited, yet the shindig was held at Mallet and Marina's house? Come on! It doesn't say much for Company when people don't show up for free food. Maybe that was expected and that was why the dinner wasn't held in the restaurant. Buzz better start looking for another job.

The week was short, with only three days of programs. That was a blessing. A Thanksgiving blessing. At least I didn't hear product whoring. Maybe next week will be better. It better be. Storylines are coming into focus and the future looks bright, what with Reva making the wise choice of taking the chemo. And Bill finally woke up. About time. I love the storyline of Remy and Christina. Funny stuff.
