The kidnapping saga of Lizzie Spaulding rolled on again this week on Guiding Light. Frankly, I think it's rolled on too long. Bill and Alan appear nonchalant. The sense of urgency is missing, making the storyline unbelievable. And what about Dina? Is Mallet that stupid not to realize something is up with Dina and the phone call, and the delaying tactic, and the sob story, etc.
? Here Lizzie bangs on the pipes, Grady is seen wandering in and out, even by Daisy, and no one from the station notices? Come on! Guiding Light is slipping back into outrageous storytelling, ala Reva's clone. I hate to be the one to tell them, but ratings aren't going to go up. I think this pushes the show closer to cancellation. Grady took Lizzie out of the basement at week's end. Let's hope that's the end of this.

Mallet and Marina having trouble buying the house is more realistic - a fix from what I wrote last week. That's all the good that happened. Reva and Jeffrey have been gone from the canvas too long. I'm starting to forget all about their storyline. Remy has also fallen off too. Here's hoping this week is better.
