Need a fix of current or classic episodes of NCIS, CSI, MacGyver, or Hannah Montana? Netflix will have 'em. Netflix has signed a deal with CBS TV that will allow it stream current episodes of that network's shows, including NCIS, CSI, CSI:Miami, CSI:NY, and Numb3rs, according to a press release.
The deal also includes a large catalog of older episodes of those popular CBS series as well as older shows such as Star Trek, Jericho, and MacGyver. The catalog of older shows should be available later in the fall.
Netflix, Inc. is the world's largest online movie rental service, providing 8.4 million members access to more than 100,000 DVD titles plus a growing library of over 12,000 full-length movies and television episodes that are available for instant watching on their PCs.
NCIS, now in its 6th season, airs on CBS on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. Classic episodes can be seen on ION TV network on Monday and Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET. Multiple episodes also air nightly on the USA Network.
NCIS follows a team of special agents for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. The highly rated show features Mark Harmon, David McCallum, Michael Weatherly, Cote De Pablo, Sean Murray, and Pauley Perrette.
