View all articles by Nina GoodenI was heading to bed but I thought it would probably be a good idea to write this review before I hit the pillow and forget everything I've seen. That should tell you what I thought of the Ex List. It wasn't that it was a bad show, no. It was interesting enough for me to stay awake for but honestly it was nothing special.
The Ex List was marketed as a comedy, but except for the somewhat offbeat humor that caught me by surprise (mostly from the co-stars) every once in a while, I was disappointed.
We have Bella, the main character running around looking for "signs" to meet up with ex-boyfriends. These men are exes for a reason, but she claims to have grown enough to get over whatever little quirk they had but ultimately they still bother her.
In the first episode she learns to deal with her dislike of their quirks only to be shown how she really effected the man before. It's a lesson that can be learned with one episode, and leaves me uninterested in seeing more.
Basically, to sum it up, the series probably isn't going to dazzle me, but I'll probably watch it if there's nothing else on: 5.5/10.
