Show Is Not Yet Titled
Former X-files star David Duchovny is giving television another try in a new comedy series on Showtime, according to an official press release by the network. Duchovny will executive produce and star in the new show, which is set to begin production in June. The series focuses on novelist Hank Moody (Duchovny), as he raises his 13-year-old daughter and deals with his unresolve feelings for his ex via drugs, drinking, and bad relationships. The series als stars Natascha McElhone, Madeleine Martin, Madeline Zima, and Evan Handler.

Duchovny is of course best known for his role as true believer Fox Mulder in The X-Files. The series began as a cult favorite that managed to hit mainstream notice when FOX moved it to Sunday nights, and survived longer than any other SF series until Stargate: SG1 broke the record. Duchovny inspired hordes of happily obsessed fas, and even inspired Bree Sharp to write the pop song "David Duchovny (Why Won't You Love Me?)"
