VIZ offers trip to Japan for JUMP FESTA convention

Subscribers to or purchasers of VIZ Media's Shonen Jump magazine have a special opportunity this month to enter sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to Japan and attend the magazine's JUMP FESTA convention. And VIZ is also giving away collectible posters inside the magazine, starting with the August edition.
What has prompted this little spree? A couple of significant milestones! The Japanese parent, Weekly Shonen Jump, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, while the North American Shonen Jump, published monthly rather than weekly, was launched five years ago in November of 2002. Both magazines run serializations of action adventure manga, mostly targeted at young males. (For an idea of the sort of manga they publish, some examples include the wildly popular Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece stories, and even Death Note, though it has a slightly different feel than the usual Shonen Jump offerings.)
How can you enter for the chance to win this trip? It's a bit complicated, so be sure to check

Note that entering the sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec), and that you must be age 13 or older to qualify. You can enter in two ways. Either buy a VIZ product with a sticker that proclaims that there's a contest entry form inside (here's a list of the available products), or write out your own entry according to the instructions. You can enter often, but can only have one entry per mailed envelope. The envelopes must be postmarked no later than October 15, and received in the sweepstakes office by October 31.
Again, since the entry process can be complicated and has a lot of rules, start at this page on the VIZ website, and read all the links. You don't want to be ineligible because you didn't follow one obscure instruction.
In addition to the main prize, there will also be surprise gifts. So enter now, enter often, and good luck!
