Crystal is a 30-something writer living in Northern California. She divides her time between writing technical documentation (techy, tech, tech requirements docs), analytical essays on television shows that hold her brain for ransom, and the occasional bout of fiction (like plague, only with characters). She enjoys Pinot Noir, but not during robot apocalypses, and feels all movies could be made better if they had a Sleestack in the background.
View all articles by Crystal CarrollIn a recent interview with tvadict.com, Garrett Dillahunt talked about the evolution of his Terminator character, Cromartie, in season two. (spoilers)
Dillahunt said,"They’re giving him a lot more brains. He’s getting a lot more tricky when it comes to catching up with the Connors. We just finished a really fun episode called “The Mousetrap” and as the name implies, I set a very elaborate trap to catch John and the family. I had a lot of fun doing all the stunts this week. Lots of water work and running."
The Mousetrap will be episode three of season two.
After teasing a bit about the "big reveal" that the producers keep talking about, he did say that, "There’s some fun stuff with George Lazlo coming up. We go back in time a little bit and see what George’s life was like a struggling actor."
Since last season, Cromartie killed Lazlo as part of creating a new Terminator identity, I hope that Dillahunt wasn't kidding. The T800/T888 series are infiltrators. That's the point of looking like a human. It'll be interesting to see the writers flesh out how far they go as part of that process.
