The theme for this week's episodes of Guiding Light seems to be recurrence. First off, Rafe returns to jail, this time not in juvie, but the real deal. Blake returns briefly to help Cassie get back into dating and Hawk pops up again. Finally, Reva found a lump. Is it cancer? It was the first time.

I know the writers are trying to show Rafe as being grown up, but I don't like him with facial hair. I thought he looked better before. Grady and Jeffrey can pull it off, but not Rafe. I'm afraid Guiding Light is going to drag out Daisy's choice. The storyline's not that compelling. Just get it over with and move on to something interesting, like Reva's lump. Now that's drama.

I didn't buy Reva's explanation to Hawk for picking Jeffrey over Josh. It just didn't ring true for me. She married Josh so many times.
How long does it take to grow up and feel safe on your own? The chemistry between Jeffrey and Reva is great. As a longtime viewer, I still like Josh and Reva, but there isn't anyone else interesting to pair Jeffrey with, unless it would be with Blake.

Blake is so underused lately. I really miss seeing her. Her going out with Cassie I thought was kind of lame. What about Blake's kids? Clarissa's been on some, but what about the twins, Kevin and Jason? Wouldn't it be great if one twin was like his grandfather Roger Thorpe and one was more like Ross? That would be interesting and bring in younger viewers. When I was younger, there were characters I could relate to on the show. The teenagers seem to have vanished these days.

What will happen with Reva? This is the most interesting storyline. I like Lizzie and Bill, but I wish something major would happen with them already. Maybe it'll happen next week.
