Madchen Amick, who played battered wife Shelly Johnson, has been signed to appear on Christian Slater's new television show, My Own Worst Enemy, which opens after Heroes on October 13 on NBC.
Amick is a last minute substitution for the previous actress slated to play Slater's wife, Yara Martinez.
Others currently scheduled to join Slater and Amick on the show, which is about a man who discovers he has a double life as a spy, include Alfre Woodard, Saffron Burrows and Mike O'Malley.
Sherilyn Fenn, the seductive Lolita-type Audrey Horne of the Peaks series, stars in The Scenesters, a movie in post-production, where she plays an assistant district attorney investigating the work of a serial killer knocking off young hipsters in Los Angeles.
